Mountain House
2019
Revit, Sketch, Photoshop
This Mountain House was my final project for two course. The first course was my Revit class and the second was for my studio course. For the Revit course we were tasked with designing a residential space that was at least 1,500 sqft., had to include custom casework, furniture, and lighting. I was able to create the space from scratch under those regulations, but then I also made it self sustainable. The roof design would allow for rainfall to collect in a basin off to the side of the house, and the fireplaces would allow for natural heating throughout the space. I also included natural materials in the construction process such as a lot of wood, glass, and some design accents native to the area (i.e. the Navajo rugs, and naturalistic colors). Below are renderings, initial sketches, and construction documents of the space.
