The Kiln was designed as a multipurpose space for a diverse couple of a potter and a fly fishing tackle collector. As a class we were given the shell of the building and then had to develop that into a space that could be used by both parties. The lower level is designated to the potter's business whereas the 2 upper levels are dedicated as the living space. We were tasked with creating the profile for the family and what their tastes were in order to develop the full design concept.
